Spanish donuts

Siempre me había preguntado como traducir la palabra "churros"...

Spanish donuts
I was always wondering how to translate "churros"...
The word 'churro' carries a kind of shapeless meaning, this is why calling donut is the last word I would ever consider, because a "churro" might be anything but never kind of circle...
